Our team acts for a range of insurers based in Australia and internationally in relation to both first and third party energy claims. We also act for several large utilities based throughout Australia. We have advised on coverage and claims adjustment issues, conducted subrogated recovery actions and defended third party claims.

Examples of our work including current retainers:

• Representing insurers in respect of a $20 million dollar business interruption claim arising out of the failure of a catalytic cracker at an oil refinery.
• Advising insurers on coverage issues in respect of a claim arising from the substantive failure of a gas pipe line in New Zealand.
• Managing a multi-million dollar pipeline contamination claim on behalf of international underwriters.
• Advising a statutory insurer following a double fatality during the construction of a gas pipeline near Parabadoo in Western Australia.
