Professional Experience
Beau joined Lee & Lyons in April 2010. He has experience in public liability, construction and engineering and professional indemnity claims. Prior to joining Lee & Lyons Beau worked as Tipstaff to Justice Hoeben in the Supreme Court of NSW and volunteered at Redfern Legal Centre, where he interviewed and advised clients on issues ranging from debt recovery to motor accidents.
Beau holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy and Psychology). He was admitted as a solicitor in 2009.
Beau's experience includes:
- Advising an Insurer in a recovery action relating to property damage and business interruption.
- Acting on behalf of an engineering firm in relation to a claim regarding the design and construction of a cable tunnel.
- Acting for Insurers in relation to statutory classes of claim including workers compensation and CTP claims.
- Acting for the Insurer of a security firm in relation to allegations of assault as against the security firm’s employee.
- Assisting in the preparation of a slip and fall at a large service station.
Beau has appeared in the District and Supreme Court of NSW.
